My Favorite Team - Analyzed

Since i can remember, I've been a faithful Lakers fan. Anyone that meets me, knows me or is related to me, knows this to be true.

This year is probably the worst team in my lifetime. Yes, it hurts to even watch these games. See the guys feel like losing is just the norm and that the excuse is always "we played hard but the game got away" "we have a ton of injuries" etc.

My analysis starts here: Mike D'antoni.

He's a good person, but he should of never been hired over Phil. Why? Because the pieces for his type of game play aren't on the Lakers team. This year they semi-built a better team fit for his play but then once again, the team is plagued with injuries. It makes you wonder....why is only the Lakers suffering through a load of injuries in the last two seasons combined. I have a theory that this could be due to the style of play or that the practices aren't good for the players. Idk.

Now going a step further. Why isn't Jordan Hill getting mroe playing time? because he's the "energy guy". That's a load of crap. You play Robert Sacre more than Hill and he only summons 1 rebound in 25 minutes? More crap. I'll take Kaman over Sacre any day of the week, but people don't even remember he's on the team because he gets no PT. Anyways. so over it.

Next, The Management.

Why is it that management hasn't fired D'antoni? It's because there's nothing left to save for this season. Playoffs isn't even something that can possibly happen. So there's no point in firing him now. He can continue to be T'ankoni.

I guess this blog is to show my frustration of a season of moments.
